DMX Shield

The DMX Shield allows you to quickly connect DMX controlled lights to your Lithne board. The DMX is connected to pin D11 of the Lithne board.

Additionally, you can connect up to four analog Phidget sensors to the board. The Phidget sensors are connected to pins A0-A3.

NOTE1: Make sure to check the Lithne DmxSimple Library page, this shield does not work with the standard library.

NOTE2: For shields of rev. 1.0 you will need to manually connect two ground lines of the board in order for the DMX to work properly.

NOTE3: For shields of rev. 1.0, in order for the sensors to work; you will need to connect the 3v3 pin of one of the connectors to a 3v3 pin of the Lithne board

Power Shield

The power shield can be used to connect a iPod battery and to connect (power) LEDs to the Lithne. The power shield can use the iPod battery to act as a completely wireless node, and is also able to charge it when the Lithne is powered through a power adapter. The power shield has four build in LED drivers which allow you to connect (multiple) 20mA, 350mA or 700mA LEDs in series.  In case you power the Lithne via a iPod battery, you can only connect single 20mA LEDs.  See schematics for more information.

Proto Shield

The Proto Shield allows you to quickly connect two analog Phidget sensors and easily prototype circuitry on your Lithne board. The Phidget sensors can be connected to A0 and A1 and all analog and digital ports on the main-processor are available to use.
